St Peter Chanel Catholic School is located in the Circular Head region of North West Tasmania, in the town of Smithton. With approximately 180 students enrolled, St Peter Chanel offers inclusive, engaging,values based education, in a safe caring environment. We implement a diverse and dynamic curriculum catering for all learning styles where learning experiences and support are tailored to individual needs.

St Peter Chanel offers integrated Information Communication Technology experiences where students can create, explore and facilitate learning opportunities via "hands on" guided discovery. Students are provided opportunity to further consolidate their learning experiences through incursions and excursions outside of the classroom environment. Access to excursions are easily available via the school's privately owned bus - kindly donated by the Parents and Friends Committee in 2009.

St Peter Chanel boasts a well resourced, recently refurbished environment, including a new early years playground. This has been designed to utilise natural resources that encourage students to apply 'hands on' creativity, which can be easily changeable as their creativity inspires!
