Students may be hospitalised due to illness, accident, trauma, for medical procedures or for psychological reasons. The central purpose of the school is to provide an enjoyable, stimulating and supportive educational service, assisting students to maintain educational continuity and to experience a smooth transition back to their home school. For students who are hospitalised for extended periods, a planned and supported reintegration program is offered. The school is well-equipped with a wide range of resources. The school operates as part of a multidisciplinary team which may include parents, medical staff, therapy teams, a social worker and a recreational therapist.
